L-cysteine is a non-essential amino acid containing sulfur. In the living body, the sulfur atom of methionine replaces the hydroxyl oxygen atom of serine and is synthesized by thioether. L-cysteine can generate glutathione, participates in the reduction process of cells and phospholipid metabolism in the liver, can protect liver cells from damage, and can stimulate hematopoietic function, increase white blood cells, and promote skin damage repair.
